PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA!
Restaurant experience on Gabriola #2: Woodfire. Thank goodness for pizza. And excellent pizza to boot! Cooked in a wood stove on hand tossed crust, this place is doing pizza the right way. I got one of several vegetarian options; The Tunnel, with portobello mushrooms, spinach, pesto and truffle oil. Amazing. They offer take-out which is a bonus because delivery around here is non-existent (probably for the best ha). We were too stuffed to try dessert so next time we visit it will be just for coffee and sweets. Best.
