Reviving Found Objects Pt. 3

05_25_2015_05

My Dad has completed the purchase of his new home down the road from our place, and he has started moving in! The previous owners left some items around the yard that he didn’t want including a pair of wooden chairs, a heavy wooden table, black composter, and a huge pile of wooden deck boards, all of which we have been helping him remove… right into our yard haha. First project was the pair of wooden chairs; I painted them black to match the fence and exterior of the house, and tossed a couple yellow cushions on them and they look great!!

  1. Someones trash is someones treasure! The chairs are amazing. Well done on re doing them! I love the cameo of pooch and kitty! Have a wonderful day! Koko ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Five dogs big and 8 kitties. I rescued a pregnant cat and she gave birth to five. No one adopted them so I had them all fixed. They now are 4 years old. A friend passed away and no one wanted her cat, so I took her in. The last cat I am mentioning was our first cat and he was born from a feral cat. The gal who rescuers the feral cat still has all her babies besides mine. She even has the mom. She too couldn’t find homes. Having all these animals isn’t easy. I vacuum a few times a day, dust daily, mop a couple times a week. The dogs get bathed almost weekly. Cats get bathed too. Kitties also get brushed with the furminator which is an amazing invention that helps keep their hair from being everywhere. Needless to say I am at maximum capacity. I do love them and all their antics. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Ahh you’re an angel! It definitely means a lot of vacuuming, my place is so dusty all the time from the bunnies but I wouldn’t have it any other way ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Bunnies! We got a pair of angoras for the fibre last year, and that opened a flood gate haha. We got a third bunny from a rescue a few months later, then later in the year took another bun in from a friend on the island. And then we got another pair of angoras a couple weeks ago. So many buns!!! They are so cute!

      • Oh my! That is awesome! I need to take some time to check out your blog more. Maybe I can catch a glimpse of your bunny brigade! Have a happy day! ๐Ÿ™‚
