We finally filled the planter in front of the chicken coop with enough soil to hold plants, so we took a stroll on the empty lot below ours for some plants we could transplant. There were a bunch of euphorbia (Mediterranean spurge) growing wild so we collected a few and filled the front of the coop. It makes a big difference!
Before and after!
Have you had any troubles with the chickens pecking through the wire at your plants?
They don’t seem interested in pecking at the plants, but when we let them out they are definitely interested in scratching around at the dirt. If there is anything fragile or small there it gets trashed 😦
Your chicken coop is inspiring! BTW I got a bunny and I totally thought of you! Hahahaha. 🙂
