A few weeks ago we finally topped up the planter in front of the chicken coop and transplanted some plants from the lower yard to spruce things up a bit. At first they looked super wilted and we didn’t think they would make it, but they have all perked back up! The large spurge dropped all its leaves and blossoms, but I trimmed off the dead bits and it has started to sprout fresh at the base. Woot! I also added some lavenders the other day so now we have spurge, bloody william, lavender, and comfrey, most of which will be able to take care of themselves and not require too much watering. Just the way I like it!
