Collecting Herbs

06_21_2016_46

We’ve been harvesting lots of herbs this season! I already posted a few weeks back about all our lemon balm, but we also have 4 types of mint, oregano, cat nip, and some wild nettles we collected as well. I’m going to wait until they get a bit bigger, but I’ve also got some happy pineapple sage plants that smell amazing! Collecting the nettles was fun, I thought it was ok to go in shorts and a tank top hahaha. I only got stung a little πŸ™‚

  1. I processed my lemon balm for drying over the weekend, too. You have far larger crops than I do, though. I love the way my hands smell after working with herbs. It’s just… healing!
