Patience is a Virtue

I believe it was the year before last that I brought home this sad looking aloe plant, bought by my Mom for $4 at GIRO when she came to visit. It was really scraggly but definitely alive, and had two little shoots coming up as well as a few little “babies” that a separate out and repotted. The volunteers at GIRO were happy to see it go and thought it should be trashed. WELL, scraggly aloe plant, now you look healthy and happy! It took a while, but with a larger pot to call home and a nice sunny spot to sit in it has thrived.

Those were the before shots, and now the after! I love aloes and succulents, they are so easy to care for. And this baby sure is beautiful.
