I’m definitely crushing on the Wild Unknown right now. I picked up a set of Kim Krans’ tarot cards with guidebook a while back (hurry if you want one, they are going out of print!) and recently also grabbed one of their Animal Spirit sets. The artwork is amazing and the card quality is top notch.
My first few readings with the tarot deck were a bit slow because the imagery is different from the Rider-Waite, and the drawings from that set definitely helped me to visualize what the meaning of the card was. But with the guidebook handy it’s easy to check out the meaning if you can’t remember right away. The artwork and symbolism of the Wild Unknown deck is certainly striking.
By now you must have picked up on the fact that I love animals… this is actually my second animal deck (the first being David Carson’s Medicine Cards which are absolutely beautiful and come with a very insightful and easy to understand guidebook) and I really love the artwork. I haven’t had a chance to dig into the guidebook yet, but if it’s anything like the tarot guidebook then it will be straightforward and accessible. I definitely recommend these card sets if you are looking to pick up tarot reading – and everything else they have on the Wild Unknown website too! haha.
These are gorgeous! I don’t even do tarot reading, but I kind of want them.
They are very pretty and the guides are super easy to follow!
I love the artwork! Very cool! 🙂
I didn’t even need more cards, but they were just too gorgeous to pass up…
I know what you mean! I have a few obsessions that I “don’t need”, but doesn’t that make life fun? Things that make us happy!!!!! 🙂
