Earlier this year I booked a holiday for J and I for his 35th birthday and also our honeymoon. We’ve both been working a LOT and I was kind of at the end of my rope so it couldn’t have come at a better time. If you follow my Instagram then you’ve already seen some of my photos from the trip, but in case you missed it here are the shots I shared to social media. Once I’ve had a chance to recover I’ll post all my favourite photos in a new post. We had a really great time, what a vibrant and gorgeous city!!
Why did you pick Ho Chi Minh? Have you always wanted to go there?
Justin has always wanted to go there, and when I looked for flights Ho Chi Minh was one of the cheapest locations! Have you ever used flights.google.com?
I’ve never gone anywhere myself! I have flown but never without family paying. I need a vacay like STAT!
Yes get yourself on vacay! π
I know, right! Lol! πππ
Well that’s it I’m officially obsessed with your blog. Vietnam has always been on our Bucket List as well…
It was so amazing!! A week definitely wasn’t long enough though π
No kidding that would be torture to have to leave that soon! For our honeymoon we went on a road trip and never stayed anywhere more than 2 or 3 days and while we saw a lot of cool things I wouldn’t do it again, as just when you start to relax it seems like it’s time to go. My husband and I have a two-week rule anytime we travel internationally. Airbnb has helped a lot with this in expensive places like Europe so we can basically “move in” wherever we go – although I absolutely hate the crappy beds! π
By the way you’ve got a great photographic eye, it’s a pleasure to see all the pictures and your own personal perspective of the world.
[…] Ho Chi Minh City 2016 […]
Ho Chi Minh city is one of my favorite cities in Vietnam. Good choice! Did you try some local food too? LαΊ©u cΓ‘ kΓ¨o (Spiny goby hot pot) is the best! β€ π
