Vegan Turmeric Milk


Turmeric is good for ya’ll. It has a whole host of benefits in addition to being an immunity booster and anti-inflammatory. It’s good for respiratory illness as well as for treating arthritis, and lots of people swear by drinking turmeric milk to stay healthy, especially before bed at night to help with digestion. J started making this milk for me recently and I’m really enjoying it. It’s also really easy. Just whip up a batch of the mix and keep it in the cupboard for tea time. Heat some non-dairy milk and you’re ready to go!


Vegan Turmeric Milk Mix

1/2 turmeric powder
1/4 cinnamon powder
2 tablespoons ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground ginger
Optional: agave syrup
Optional: coconut oil

Use a spice grinder to mix all spices together evenly. Heat one cup of non-dairy milk on the stove or with an espresso machine. Add 1-2 teaspoons of mix to the warm milk and stir thoroughly, with coconut oil and agave syrup being an optional addition for flavour. Drink immediately. Enjoy!




  1. It’s so yummy . Just don’t do what I did. Staying at my daughters and we had some before bed. I didn’t finish mine and in the middle of the night I somehow knocked it and it landed over her crisp white linen sheets and White doona cover . It eventually came out with a few washes and sunshine. Thought I would have to purchase new sheets for her.
