Travel: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Part 1)

As promised, here is a total photo dump from our trip to Ho Chi Minh City! We had such an amazing time and there were soooo many photos. I tried to pick only the best ones, but I’m still going to break it into two posts so it doesn’t get too long. Enjoy!

Photo above is in the Shanghai airport where we had layovers on the way there and the way home. We spent a lot of hours in there, at least it was a pretty building!

The first day we were there we arrive at about 2am and slept until 7am when we got up for breakfast and went out for our first exploration. We visited the post office, the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, and a couple museums. We went back to the hotel at about noon and thought we’d have a nap for a bit, but didn’t think we’d need an alarm. We woke up at 9pm hahaha. Good thing the city is up all night!

As I mentioned in my post a few days ago, we found a really cute arts district with some great house wares shops. Look at all that amazing pottery!

Pretty sure I took about a dozen photos of my feet with these beautiful geometric floor tiles, they were everywhere.

Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica.

Tân Định church, a pink Catholic church built in the 1880s.

Cong Caphe in the heart of Ho Chi Minh was our favourite stop for cool drinks, this frozen lemon was amaaaaazing.

Ben Thanh Market

That’s it for now, more to come!

  1. Bring back my memories, I remember Going to Ben thanh Market and almost hit by motorcycle when crossing the road, lil chaos but still great experience…
