Sick Bunny

In what I am certain is the worst timing ever, Millie has fallen very ill over the holiday weekend. I’m doing my best to keep her warm and healthy until a vet is available on the island, send us your positive vibes!

She is still eating but has lost weight and I can feel her spine very clearly. She also has runny poop which is very serious in bunnies. Poor little muffin, I hope it resolves itself in a few day but if not it’s off to the doctor. I brought her and her husbun Momo inside so I can monitor them and they spent all day yesterday just sitting on my pink chair.

It is hard to see the animals I love suffer. This has been a hard year for everyone. Hoping for the best in 2017 ❀

  1. poor baby. It is so hard to deal with a sick baby, whether it is feline, canine or a little floppy eared bunny. Hope she feels better soon. That runny bowel could be a sign of worms, poor thing. Hoping it resolves quickly for her sake (and yours)

    • We just got back from the vet (they finally reopened today!) and she has some kind of bacterial infection mixed with crystals, so everyone gets a major house clean today and we are going to have to change up their eating a bit while Millie does antibiotics. Poor little muffins, rabbits are a surprisingly challenging pet!

  2. Greetings from Colorado! I’m bored to tears at work
so I decided to check out your site on my iphone during lunch break.
I really like the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look
when I get home. I’m shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my
mobile .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow,
    awesome site!
