I did a super easy thing this week and it made a big difference around the house. I topped all the houseplants with a layer of granite bits to cover the soil, and it really tidied them up! It works well for succulents and other plants that should not have their leaves sitting on damp soil, and also to cover the bases of cacti. As I was doing it I realized we have collected quite a few houseplants!! Finally I have the light to surround myself in jungle. ❤

We actually got them at our pet feed store as chickens need grit, but I imagine they could also be bought at a garden centre!
