UGH, I’ve been neglecting my reading and I’m super bummed about it. My work leave ended and I went back to my job, and we also started the market season here on Gabriola so I haven’t had a lick of spare time to set aside for reading.
I have still picked up a few books while out and about that I’m looking forward to using, though. A couple new books on plants and raw food; Power Plants by Frankie Flowers and Bryce Wylde, and Going Raw by Judita Wignall (Both scored at Value Village Victoria!)
I’ve also picked up a baking recipe book from one of my favourite food brands, Bob’s Red Mill. J went to find a bread recipe on our recipe book shelf the other night and we realized that all the baking books I have are either gluten free or vegan (I’m such a food hipster), and he wanted just a regular baking book. So this Bob’s Red Mill book will be perfect!
I also impulse bought these Egyptian Hieroglyphic Dictionaries (Vol 1 & 2) because they are just so cool… I love the symbols and the design of each character. So amazing.
What’s everyone else been reading this week??
