30 Weeks of Pregnancy!

You guys. Today marks 30 weeks of my pregnancy. I can’t believe how fast things have flown by!! The first trimester was rough, the second trimester was a lot better, and with the exception of some lethargy the third and final trimester is great so far. Just 10 weeks left! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Baby is right on target, size wise, despite many comments I have gotten about my bump being tiny (but really, I’m also pretty tiny myself). The midwife measures the uterus from the pelvic bone to the top, called the fundus, which rests near the belly button, and the measurement should fall in line with the number of weeks you are. At 23 weeks I measured 23cm, and at 27 weeks I was 27cm. The body is a fascinating thing! Everything seems to be the way it should be, and we are certainly looking forward to having a healthy bb in our arms shortly.

Here’s a recap of how things have progressed so far:

10 Weeks (the gummy bear stage):

12 Weeks (the size of a lime):

13 Weeks (burger belly is growing):

18 Weeks (belly went kapow):

20 Weeks (she has a face, and she is a she!):

21 Weeks (living in my sweatpants):

23 Weeks (Christmas day):

25 Weeks (really starting to grow now):

26 Weeks (maternity pants have happened):

28 Weeks (feeling lumpy):

29 Weeks (living the couch potato life now):

Comparison of the first 25 weeks:

For the 30th week I have booked some maternity photos with the lovely ladies at Nomad by NK, the same photographers that shot my engagement and wedding photos, and I’m super excited to have them back all edited! Before you know it I’ll be at my due date ๐Ÿ˜‚
