It’s plum season! We have 4 plum trees in our yard and they are overloaded with fruit that is just starting to ripen. The smell of plums makes me think of summer, and this year we definitely have more than we’ve ever had before!

I’m getting ready for Plum Cardamom Jam, plum tarts and plum pie filling!

We have a really nice Italian variety that is purple on the outside and yellow on the inside and really amazing fresh off the tree.
