IPSY: April Glam Bag

This is a very belated post about the April Glam Bag from IPSY! This month it was halfway through May before the bag arrived and then I procrastinated big time on blogging about it, but here we are and it was a good one.

Included in the bag this month: BEAU GÂCHIS Concealer Perfecting Brush, ECO LIPS Protect Lip Balm in Vanilla Lavender, PYT BEAUTY Upcycle Eyeshadow Palette / Warm Lit Nude Mini in Sand Dune, Slow Burn, Bonfire, and Golden Hour, SAINT LUXE Highlighter in Celestial, and THEBALM COSMETICS Mad Lash Travel Size Mascara.

Add ons I chose this month were: GLOW ON 5TH Facial Cleaning Pad, MAËLLE BEAUTY Clearly Brilliant Tinted Lips in Fuchsia, JULES SMITH BEAUTY Power Slick Gloss in Bling Berry, BEAU GÂCHIS No. 7 Brush Collection, TARTE Double Duty Beauty™ Shape Tape™ Setting Powder in Translucent, INSERT NAME HERE Brush Your Worries Away + Quick Slick Duo, and THE ICELAND Papaya + Peach Sheet Mask Duo (free gift!)

Stand outs are definitely the hairbrush and the vanilla lavender lip balm. I have needed a new hairbrush for a long time and was excited to try this one, and it’s the best brush I’ve ever had. It has short bristles and longer bristles with small beads that work together to get through all the hair but not get stuck as I find beaded brushes usually do (is that even what they are called? I have no idea). It’s also completely vegans and cruelty free.

The berry lip gloss smells really great, and I always love to get makeup brushes. The face scrubbie has a really cool texture and feels good on my face, it can also be used to clean brushes. Unfortunately the eyeshadow compact was destroyed by Mavis before I had a chance to try it but it looked similar to some of the other mini palettes I’ve received already (neutral and gold/brown tones) so I don’t really feel like I’m missing out. I haven’t had a chance to try the setting powder, face masks, concealer, or highlighter compact but they all look good.

Overall another nice collection of products in a cute bag. Definitely pleased with the hairbrush!
